Six Nations Guide

22 Feb 2021

It’s that time of year again, the Guinness Six Nations is upon us. This year’s tournament opens on Saturday 6th February with Italy against France and closes with a Super Saturday on March 20th.

The Women’s and U20s competitions will not take place in the same slot this year, being pushed back to spring or early summer. Once confirmed these games will be uploaded on www.rugbykickoff.com.

If the games are not shown in your country or you prefer some different coverage, make sure to sign up to NordVPN to change your IP address so you can appear to be anywhere in the world. The BBC offer some excellent coverage and is free of charge. ITV is free of charge…

United Kingdom

The tournament is again, and perhaps for a final time, split between the BBC and ITV, both free-to-air.

The rule to follow is the BBC have all the Wales, Scotland and France home games. Italy, England or Ireland playing at home means ITV play hosts. In addition, any Welsh game, home or away, is also shown on S4C.

Highlights from all 3 games each weekend will be shown in ITV4 at 8pm each Sunday.

If you’d like to watch the UK coverage but are abroad, make sure to check out NordVPN to ensure you don’t miss any of the action.

Ireland

The choice is very simple, all games are on Virgin One, with BBC and ITV coverage also available through satellite providers.

United States

All the games will be shown on peacock, the new(ish) streaming service from NBC.

Elsewhere

In France, TV5 Monde will be showing the France games with the rest on FR2.

For those in Italy, DMAX will be showing the game free-to-air. If you’re in Austria, Germany or Switzerland, you can get the same DMAX coverage, but available through their subscription service.

In Australia, beIN Sports have the rights, available through a subscription service. Across the Tasman Sea, Sky Sports have the rights in NZ, again, only available through subscription.

As with pretty much all rugby in South Africa, the 6 Nations is on SuperSport.

DAZN have the rights in Canada, but the free BBC and ITV broadcasts are available with a VPN.

Premier Sports Asia will be showing the 6 Nations across their supported countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
